The latest report from NHS England has revealed that no deaths from covid have been reported at Great Western Hospital. It has been four days since the last such deaths were reported. This means the coronavirus death toll at Great Western Hospital since the start of the outbreak remains at 385. These figures are correct up to 4pm on 28 November.
According to the data released today at 4pm, there were 70 new confirmed coronavirus cases reported in the previous 24 hours in Swindon, meaning the total rose to 32,241 confirmed cases since the start of the outbreak. In the previous seven days there were 757 new confirmed cases in Swindon. In Wiltshire there had been 330 new cases in the previous 24 hours, meaning the number of people who had tested positive in Wiltshire was 62,791. This meant that in the previous seven days there had been been 2,552 new confirmed cases in Wiltshire.
As of 9am on 29 November, 10,189,059 people had tested positive for coronavirus in the UK. This was a rise of 42,583 positive tests in the past 24 hours.
As of 5pm on 28 November, of those tested positive for coronavirus in the UK who died within 28 days of their test, 144,810 had died across all settings. This was an increase of 51.
