Two more coronavirus deaths at GWH bringing total Swindon deaths to five

It is being reported that two more people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died at Great Western Hospital.

One patient died on Thursday, March 26, and the other patient died a day later.

This brings the number of deaths at the Swindon hospital to five since the crisis began.

Both of the latest victims had underlying health issues with a 100 year old woman dying on 26 March and a man in his 50s dying on 27 March.

The families of both patients have been informed according to a spokeswoman from Great Western Hospital.
