Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision between a car and a boy on a bicycle on Queen Elizabeth Drive.
A spokesperson said: "On Tuesday, May 16, at around 7.45am, near to The Tawney Owl pub, a white 'estate’ style vehicle was involved in a collision with a 13-year-old child on a bicycle cycling across the road on his way to school.
"The driver of the vehicle stopped momentarily before then driving off before the child’s mother arrived on the scene.
"The teenager suffered reportedly minor injuries.
"We are eager to speak to any witnesses to this incident and the driver of this vehicle."
In a message to the public, the spokesperson added: "If you saw what happened or have any information that could help with our enquiries, please contact us on 101 quoting reference number 54230051018."
