Officers from the Central South Neighbourhood Policing team yesterday morning conducted a warrant at an address is the Parks area of Swindon following intelligence from the community.
PC Hesketh, neighbourhood officer for the Parks who led the warrant, said: ‘This was a successful warrant that has come about after concerns from the community.
"At the address we found drugs, evidence of drug supply, a female wanted on warrant and a bicycle stolen in a burglary.
"A male is currently in custody for the drug offences and will also now be questioned over the burglary.
"A female is also in custody for her outstanding warrant. We are pleased to say that as the owner of the bike had noted her serial number we were quickly able to identify the bike and return it to her.
"We urge all bicycle owners to note down their serial numbers which are often found on the underside of the bicycle either engraved on the frame between the pedals or on a sticker/panel stuck to the frame."
If you have concerns over drug dealing or other illegal activities in your neighbourhood please report it on 101.
