Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses following fatal single-vehicle accident.
At 6.30am today - 22 January - officers were called to the scene near the A4 Beckhampton roundabout.
A force spokesperson said: "Sadly, the driver of the vehicle, a 37 year old man from Swindon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with his family and friends.
We would ask that their privacy is respected."
As of mid-morning, road closures were in place around the A4 and on the B4003 to West Kennet.
The spokesperson said: "We are appealing for anyone who might have witnessed the incident to contact us on 101 quoting log number 30 of today."
