Members of the Swindon public are invited to join GWH's virtual annual members meeting and learn more about their local hospital.
Members, local residents, patients and families are invited to attend Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust's virtual Annual Members' Meeting which will take place on Monday, 26 September, at 5.00pm.
Staff say the talk will give attendees the opportunity to learn more about the hospital's current urgent and emergency care position, the recovery programme to get patients booked in for the treatment they need, an update on the financial position, and a look ahead to the next year.
A spokesperson from GWH said: "The focus of this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting is improvement, and the Trust’s Board will share positive update on the recent roll-out of a new improvement methodology across the Trust, Improving Together, and how this is already making real change for the patient experience and the staff working environment."
The Trust Board will also share good news and successes with the audience and will discuss other important topics related to local healthcare across the hospital, community and primary care services.
This will include discussion around the Trust’s next site development, which will see the expansion and co-location of urgent and emergency care services.
