This October, GWH staff will be holding a psychological wellbeing event for patients who have finished, or are coming to the end of their cancer treatment.

The wellbeing event will be held on Wednesday 5 October at The Academy, at GWH.

The day will run from 1pm - 4.30pm.

A spokesperson for the hospital said: "Finishing cancer treatment can bring up a lot of emotions for people. This group event aims to explore helpful ways of moving forward after treatment, as well as strategies for managing some of the challenges associated with finishing treatment."

GWH staff say topics covered at this psychological wellbeing event will include uncertainty, worries around the future, self-compassion, and moving forward.
