Hospital announces Dementia talk

The Great Western Hospital has announced that it will holding a public health talk on Dementia next week.

Dementia is a syndrome (a group of related symptoms) associated with an ongoing decline of brain functioning. There are many different causes of dementia and many different types. 

The talk will focus on the impact of living with dementia, both as a patient and as a carer.

It will be held virtually on Monday 10 June from 5pm and is free to attend.
