Staff in GWH's Emergency Department helped a couple renew their wedding vows in hospital after the man, Colin Crowther was rushed in very poorly.
He and his wife, Jayne were due to renew their vows on Sunday but Colin became unwell at home.
Having known about the planned renewal, Emergency Department staff sourced decorations, flowers, cake, drinks, nice crockery and helped the patient change into his outfit.
They also made it possible for the couples’ family to join the ceremony via video call.
