Back in October, Keep Swindon Tidy and Plastic Free Swindon launched a joint collaboration to create a poster gallery of local artists' posters to encourage Swindonians to look after the town. Schools and residents around Swindon have been invited to take part and submit poster entries on any anti-litter theme they like to keep their local areas clean and safe.

Everyone is welcome to design a poster for the gallery. Please see the website for details on how to enter: http://plasticfreeswindon.org/home/
The Beechcroft Infants Eco-Warriors are the most recent group of budding local artists to send in their entries to the online gallery. You can see all the fantastic artwork on the website.
Sarah Church, of Keep Swindon Tidy, said: "There has also been an exciting development with some of our parish and town councils. South Swindon, Central Swindon North, Chiseldon, Haydon Wick, Highworth, Wanborough, Wroughton have agreed to display posters sent in to our gallery to remind people to keep their local areas clean and safe. Keep Swindon Tidy and Plastic Free Swindon are really grateful to the parish councils for being so supportive of this campaign. We are also talking with other parishes and schools and are excited that this is only the beginning!"

Schools across Swindon are encouraged to send in their poster designs to Ben, Sue and Sarah using the contact details on the website. All designs will be posted on the online gallery.
