The Enchanted Gardens Light Trail in Swindon's Town Gardens is officially open.

First-night visitors were delighted by the array of lights which turned the park into a multi-coloured wonderland.
Mayor of Swindon Cllr Garry Perkins was among the guests and said: "It's absolutely brilliant! It's a very simple idea but I think it works exceptionally well.
"You just wonder why it was never done before! It's well worth the money."
The trail has been organised by South Swindon Parish Council and supports Brighter Futures, the Great Western Hospital charity.
Parish council chair Chris Watts said: "We're really pleased with it and the weather has been good for us as well.
"It was a big thing for the parish to do and quite nerve-wracking because it's quite an event, but I'm really pleased that we decided to go for it - and go for it properly as well."
Tickets for the trail, which is open until the end of the month, cost £10.50 for adults and £5.50 for young people aged five to 17, and can be booked via www.skiddle.com
