Detectives investigating disorder around the Port Vale v Swindon Town football match in May have re-issued CCTV images in a bid to identify seven people.

Officers are working with Port Vale Football Club and Swindon Town Football Club to investigate various reports of disorder and violence prior, during and after, the fixture at Vale Park on Thursday, 19 May.

Inquiries are ongoing, and detectives are keen to trace the men and women captured on CCTV as they may be able to help with the investigation.

Images one, two, seven and eight are believed to be Port Vales fans and images 11, 12 and 14 are believed to be Swindon fans.

Three men from Stoke-on-Trent were arrested – a 19-year-old, a 28-year-old and a 39-year-old – and have been released under investigation pending further enquiries.

Four men, a woman and a boy have been voluntarily interviewed and given conditional cautions preventing them from attending football matches for 16 weeks.

This includes six people from Stoke-on-Trent – an 18-year-old woman, a 17-year-old boy and four men aged 20, 24, 27 and 32 – and a 64-year-old man from Swindon.

A police spokesperson said: "If you know any of the individuals pictured, please call CID North on 01785 233336, or message Staffordshire Police on Facebook or Twitter or quoting incident number 213 of 16 May and providing the reference number related to the image you are identifying."
