The Plumb Centre celebrated the launch of its brand new Swindon branch with the Mayor declaring it open for business.
Cllr Imtiyaz Shaikh joined branch manager Simon Leycock to cut the ribbon.
The new state-of-the-art trade counter on the Elgin Industrial Estate gives trade professionals access to Plumb Centre’s range of heating, plumbing and renewable products, and more under one roof.
Mr Leycock said: “As a business, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding customer service, delivered in a friendly, fun and welcoming environment by our expert local team.
“I’m extremely proud of the new branch, I think it looks fantastic and I’m confident that it’s going to be a big hit with tradespeople across Swindon and the wider area.
“We’ve got an extensive range of products in stock, from heating, plumbing and renewables, to pipes, fittings, valves, parts and drainage.
"This backed up by Plumb Centre’s national distribution, giving customers complete peace of mind that we can provide everything they need to get the job done, typically with next day delivery.”
To celebrate the opening of the new Swindon branch, Plumb Centre planned to hosting trade days for the first two weeks in October, with key suppliers such as Worcester Bosch, Baxi and Wera on-hand to showcase their solutions. Plumb Centre is also giving away a host of merchandise, as well as a large prize hamper of tools and accessories, worth hundreds of pounds.
With over 420 branches nationwide, Plumb Centre is the UK’s largest specialist merchant, with over 30,000 high quality and competitively priced products available either in branch or delivered.
In addition to its trade network, customers can also utilise Plumb Centre’s recently launched app. Available to download on both iOS and Android platforms, the app allows professionals to manage all aspects of their workday with ease from their phones.
Customers can also benefit from Plumb Centre’s loyalty scheme – PlumbPro, giving them access to rewards, promotions and cashback.
Plumb Centre Swindon is open Monday to Friday, 7.30am-5pm, and 8am-12pm on Saturday.
