The council have shared details of the work that was completed last week and the upcoming plans for the remainder of the month.

Last week the installation of lighting columns and sign posts was completed at the Moonrakers junction.

This week, the council's contractor for the scheme, Alun Griffiths Ltd, will now be surfacing the pavements.

Swindon Borough Council say this will require night-time closures on the southbound lanes of Cricklade Road on the 20, 21 and 22 October.

A diversion route will be in place while this work is completed.

A council spokesperson said: "Thank you to local residents and motorists for their ongoing patience while this work is completed."
