Drivers are being reminded that major work on Junction 15 of the M4 begins on Monday, 10 August.
The £17.5m improvement scheme, led by Highways England, is intended to alleviate congestion at both the junction and the A419 before new homes are built nearby and employers move into the area.
Scheduled to last a year, the work will involve widening both the A419 and the A346, as well as widening and lengthening the motorway junction.
Day House Lane will be closed to all traffic from Monday, and work on the A419 Southbound from Commonhead to Junction 15 will start on Friday, 14 August, meaning the road will be closed for three nights.
