Nepalese Association of Wiltshire to hold Nepali Cultural fun day event

Next month, the Nepalese Association of Wiltshire will be holding a Nepali Cultural Day at Faringdon Park.

The Nepalese Association of Wiltshire will be hosting a cultural fun day for Swindon residents and families on Saturday 3 September. 

The event will take place at Faringdon Park (SN1 5DJ) from 11am - 7pm. 

There will be whole host of activities and entertainment for attendees to enjoy, including:

  • Nepali Brass Band - Nau Mati Baja
  • A Nepalese Cultural display and performances
  • Nepali tourism stalls
  • Rides and a fair for the children
  • Designer Saree stalls
  • Food and drink stalls
  • Business and information stalls

There will be guests of honour present, including the Mayor of Swindon, Cllr Abdul Amin. 

The Nepalese Association will have donation buckets at the gates for people to pay an entry fee donation if they can. The recommended donation is £2, but members of the public can decide what they wish to give. 

As well as raising funding for the association, some of the funds raised from the event will be going to the Mayor of Swindon's charities.
