Swindon Borough Council has opened a new meeting place to help people avoid homelessness.

It is based at the council's headquarters at the Wat Tyler West building, with the public entrance on Beckhampton Street.
All those in need of help are urged to come and talk things through with the dedicated Homelessness Prevention Team.
A council spokesperson said: "Whatever their circumstances, it’s critical that anyone who is at risk of finding themselves homeless can access advice and support."
The meeting place is  open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am and 4pm, and on Wednesdays from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Over the weekend, or out of hours, support is available by calling 01793 445503 or via [email protected]
