The launch of Museum & Art Swindon's new website and brand identity has been announced by the town's GEL Studios.

The exciting project, designed and developed by the team at the creative agency, marks a significant step forward for the museum and Swindon's cultural scene.
Following a Pillars Branding Workshop at GEL Studios, where the team helped to modernise and realign the overall message of the brand, Museum & Art Swindon was presented with a new look and feel that fully encapsulates their mission.
The design reflects the renewed enthusiasm of the organisation and its goals: to create an exciting community hub and to champion inclusivity. To achieve this, the creative team at GEL Studios employed an eye-catching colour palette and a multi-layered logo design, prioritising accessibility while incorporating subtle references to Swindon's rich heritage throughout the design.
GEL Studios Creative Director Carly Smith said: “We wanted to create an identity for the new museum that has real meaning and purpose.
"The branding journey was focused on how Museum & Art Swindon positions itself and explored what the museum has to offer to the community and beyond. From its collections and exhibitions through to the expert curators and the new venue too.
“Knowing that the new museum would be a vibrant destination, this guided key branding decisions from the very start of the project. The bright and accessible colour palette is energetic and representative of inclusion, coupled with the layered element that acknowledges Swindon's history, which was equally as important to include in the new identity.
"We've loved working on such a fun, local brand. As members of the Swindon community, we feel proud to have played our part in bringing the next phase of Museum and Art Swindon's history to life.”
Once the new brand had been finalised, the team at GEL Studios could begin the development of a new website, working hard to provide a more engaging, intuitive and informative online experience for visitors - both new and old.

Developed with diverse user needs in mind, the website features a clear and logical structure, ensuring a smooth experience across every page.
New features include an online store for merchandise and a secure donation portal, making it even easier for the Swindon community to give back to such an impactful and valued organisation.
GEL Studios is an award-winning, B-Corp-certified creative agency, specialising in delivering impact through strategic thinking, creativity and collaborative partnerships that drive sustained success.
