Today is the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the NHS as well as the social care system which was created at the same time in 1948. How will you be showing your gratitude?
A GWH spokesperson said: "Today is the 72nd anniversary of the NHS and we want to use this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who has supported us this year to help respond to the global pandemic.
"It is also the anniversary of the social care system which was created at the same time in 1948 and a chance for us to celebrate the work of our partners in social care and those we have been working with throughout the pandemic.
"Today, we'd like you to share your positive NHS stories with us, whether that is as a member of staff or a patient. Make sure you tag us on Facebook so we can share your stories!
"From all of our staff working across the Trust, to key workers out in the community and those of you who have supported from your homes, thank you."
