Easier access for medical care for young people in the town, could be found at the dedicated Children's Clinic over at Tawhill this winter.
GWH NHS Foundation Trust staff are reminding members of the public with children, that Swindon's Children's Clinic is there to help this winter.
The dedicated acute illness clinic can be found running from Tawhill Medical Centre. It can be accessed by children between 2 - 17 years of age.
A spokesperson said: "We are aware that children are more likely to be unwell during the winter months so this clinic aims to allow easier access for medical care for young people in the area.
"It also means children don't always need to be seen at hospital."
The clinic's opening hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm.
Some of the symptoms the clinic team say children and young people may experience over the winter months include:
- Aching muscles
- Continuous cough
- High temperature
- Loss of taste or smell
- New fatigue
- Shortness of breath
- Nasal congestion
- Persistent headache
