All are welcome to inspect new plans for the future of the Oasis Leisure Centre.
Developers SevenCapital recently announced proposals for the centre, which did not reopen following the covid pandemic.
They include retaining the iconic dome, creating a range of outdoor sports facilities in lieu of a sports hall and building up to 710 new homes in the vicinity to help offset the cost.
A public exhibition of the plans will be held tomorrow - Tuesday 26 November - at Swindon and Wiltshire Institute of Technology, North Star Avenue, Swindon, SN2 1DY, between 1pm and 7pm.
Members of the public can view the proposals by visiting the Swindon Oasis website at https://www.swindonoasis.co.uk/. SevenCapital says it is keen to receive people’s feedback by Wednesday 27 November before a planning application is submitted to Swindon Borough Council.
The website includes a section where feedback can be left, and all responses will be reviewed by SevenCapital’s project team.
