Witness appeal after pedestrian seriously injured in Swindon collision

Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was injured in a serious road traffic collision in Swindon over the weekend.

The collision happened shortly before 11.30am on Sunday 12 June, on Thamesdown Drive - at the junction with the Orbital shopping centre. 

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was involved in a collision with a car and was taken to Great Western Hospital with serious injuries.

He required surgery and currently remains in hospital.

The force are appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police, or anyone with dash cam footage which could assist their enquiries, to get in touch.
