Racial abuse hurled in supermarket car park

Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was racially abused in the car park of the Co-op in Newport Street.

It happened at about 8.30am on Wednesday, 13 October.

A police spokesperson said: "The man had been driving a grey Audi, and was walking through the car park, when a woman driving a small dark coloured car, shouted racial abuse at him.

"The woman had blonde hair with two children in the rear of the vehicle. She left the scene onto Newport Street.

"We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or may have information in relation to the suspect.

"Please call 101 and quote crime reference number 54210100014."
