There is less than a fortnight until the deadline for registering to vote passes.
On Thursday 2 May there will be Swindon Borough Council and Wiltshire Police and Crime Commissioner polls, and 16 April is the deadline for registering.
A Swindon Borough Council spokesperson said: "It's quick and easy, and only takes five minutes on the Government website."

Voters are also being reminded once more that photo ID is required for these elections and all future elections.
The spokesperson added: "Your poll card, while important for locating your polling station, cannot be used as photo ID. If you don't have an accepted form of photo ID, don't worry! You can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate online or by calling 01793 445500.
"It's important everyone has the opportunity to vote. If you know someone who may not have photo ID, such as a neighbour, friend or family member, advise them to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate."
