Swindon Borough Council are reminding members of the public about its readily available garden waste collection service.

Swindon Borough Council are offering Swindon people the option to have their garden waste disposed of for them.

Individuals will pay an annual fee and the council will come and collect their garden waste.

This service will take place on a fortnightly basis.

A spokesperson for the council said: "This summer, if you've got garden waste to dispose of, we’re saying skip the tip and instead consider signing-up to our garden waste collection service.

"This service can give people time back - however they choose to spend it."

From July onwards people will also pay a reduced rate of £37.80 until the end of March.
