Swindon Borough Council will host an online workshop for members of the public who would like advice around home extensions.

Swindon Borough Council's Building Control Team are hosting a free 'Getting the Builders In' workshop tomorrow - 8 December, at 5.30pm for residents who are looking for advice on extending their home.

The Council says Building Control Surveyors and Trading Standards Officers will be on-hand to explain how building designs can be made to comply with planning and building regulations, offer tips on finding a good builder and how to make sure the building work delivers what people desire from their home extensions.

The workshop will be held via Microsoft Teams, but members of the public will not need to have an account to join.

Those interested can email [email protected] to book a place, or to ask for an information pack if unable to join.
