Swindon Borough Council have teamed up with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Swindon & Wilts and Our Wiltshire to create a public survey about street safety at night.

Swindon Borough Council - in partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Wiltshire and Swindon and Our Wiltshire - says it wants to hear public thoughts and experiences of being out in Swindon and Wiltshire at night.

By completing this survey, the council says people will help them to get a picture of the dangers they feel they face in the town, and help to create safer night time spaces in the local community.

A spokesperson from the council said: "In the past, we’ve received a fantastic response to similar surveys, and it would be great to get views from as many people as possible here too."

Members of the public can share their views by completing the short survey, it is estimated to take five minutes and can be found online at https://bit.ly/SaferNightsSurvey

The survey closes on 19 July.
