Sir Robert Buckland says he is very proud to have been elected as Chair of the APPG on Autism this week, during Neurodiversity Celebration Week.
During his time as an MP, Sir Robert has worked to campaign for the rights of those with Autism and other neurodivergent individuals.
The APPG aims to raise awareness of Autism in Parliament, and to campaign and lobby for increased awareness and improved support for people with Autism and their carers.
Neurodiversity Celebration Week aims to challenge stereotypes and misconceptions about neurological differences and also aims to change the narrative to understand, accept, and celebrate neurodiversity.
