Swindon Police have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to speak to in connection with an incident of common assault last month in Swindon Bus Station.
It is reported that at approximately 8pm on 18 March that the victim was walking home from work when allegedly a group of young people started shouting abuse before a woman spat water in their face.
PC Rosie Bearfield-Smith said: “This is a disgusting act in normal times but made worse given the context of the current global pandemic and the associated Covid risks.
“Anyone with any information that could help us identify the woman pictured or has witnessed the incident is asked to call us on 101 and quote crime reference number 54210026008.”
