The police are appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked and stabbed in the leg.
It happened at about 7.45pm yesterday - 10 February - in Verwood Close, Park North, Swindon.
The victim, who is in his 30s, is recovering following hospital treatment for a wound in his lower leg.
A group of about five male attackers fled the scene on bicycles.
The police say members of the public may notice extra police patrols in the vicinity for community safety and reassurance.
Acting Det Insp Phillippa Sharpley said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may know those responsible for this attack.
"It took place on a busy street and there may be plenty of people who saw what took place. If you can help, please call.”
