A Swindon man has been fined and banned from driving after being caught drug-driving, and in the possession of cannabis.

Lee Christopher Page, 21, of Manor Crescent, Moredon, pleaded guilty to driving without insurance, two counts of driving a vehicle under the influence of drugs and possessing cannabis at a hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court on 21 September.

On 15 April, Page was stopped on Cheney Manor Road, after officers suspected he was driving without insurance.

Page subsequently failed a drug wipe, and cannabis was located in the vehicle.

He has been disqualified from driving for 12 months, fined £200, and required to pay court costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £34.
