Witness appeal after man punches teen boy outside Swindon Premier store

Officers investigating an assault on a teenage boy that took place in Swindon, are appealing for witnesses.

The incident happened between approximately 3pm and 4pm on 29 December.

Two teenage boys were approached by a man they did not know outside of the Premier store in Welcombe Avenue.

The man punched one of the boys in the face causing an injury to his nose and swollen lips.

The suspect is described as wearing a balaclava and a black puffa jacket. He was said to be riding a black electric bike.

A spokesperson from Swindon Police said: "Anyone who witnessed the incident, or has any information regarding who the suspect is, should call 101 and quote crime reference number 54220135723.

"Alternatively, call CrimeStoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
