Wiltshire Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery in Swindon.
It happened at around 8.30pm on Monday night (21/09) at the One Stop Shop in Guildford Avenue, Lawns.
The suspect entered the store and threatened a member of staff while loading up a shopping basket with a quantity of tobacco.
He then left without making any attempt to pay.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and wearing a black and grey jumper, grey jogging bottoms, a dark-coloured baseball cap and a white face mask.
He was not carrying a weapon.
PC Carl Bond, from Swindon Community Policing Team, said: “Thankfully nobody was hurt during the robbery, but the staff working in the shop were left extremely shaken by what happened.
“If you recognise the man pictured, or you are aware of tobacco being offered for sale in suspicious circumstances, then please contact us.”
