New research from health experts From Mars has named the top 20 UK cities offering local residents the best healthcare access and Swindon features.
From Mars - an online men's healthcare site - wanted to compare the healthcare access across the UK’s biggest cities.
To do that, the 50 most populated UK cities were compared based on the number of hospitals, number of sexual health clinics, average waiting time for general surgery, and number of hospitals in Newsweek’s top 50 UK hospitals.
Based on data from the NHS, Allianz Worldwide Care, and Newsweek, the UK’s 50 most populated cities have been ranked to show you the top 10 cities that are the best to consider moving to, should an individual want to live in a city with the best hospital access.

From Mars' research has also revealed that there are 1.86 hospitals per 100,000 people in Swindon, alongside 1.08 sexual health clinics per 100,000 people. The average waiting time for general surgery at NHS trust hospitals in Swindon was found to be five weeks.
