Eligible people can now book their vaccination to protect themselves against flu and Covid this winter.

From Thursday 3 October, anyone eligible for the vaccinations can book via the NHS website, by downloading the NHS App, or by calling 119 for free if they cannot get online.

Local NHS services including GP surgeries will also contact those who are eligible for a vaccine.

A council spokesperson said: "These vaccinations provide vital protection, preventing serious illness and reducing hospital admissions during the busy winter months.

People can find out whether they are eligible and book now via the NHS App or on the NHS website.
