Voters are being urged to make sure they will be able to cast their vote in the General Election on Thursday 4 July.
Swindon Borough Council is highlighting two approaching deadlines.
One is the Voter Authority Certificate deadline, which is Wednesday 26 June at 5pm.
Voters will need to present an approved form of photo ID at their polling station if they wish to vote in the General Election. Accepted forms of ID include passports, driving licences and certain concessionary travel passes.
If a person does have an accepted photo ID, they can apply for a free Voter Authority Certificate (VAC). People can find out more about what photo ID is accepted and how to apply for a VAC on the council's website.
The Proxy Vote deadline also falls at 5pm on Wednesday 26 June.
If a person is unable to vote in person, they can appoint someone you trust to vote on your behalf, known as a proxy vote. Apply here for a proxy vote.
