Swindon Police are appealing for witnesses following a sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl.
The attack happened in the town centre on Sunday, 20 June.
A police spokesperson said: "The girl was walking along the path between the Brunel North and Brunel West car parks towards McDonalds at around 3.10pm when she noticed a group of five men walking towards her.
"When she walked past, one of the men shouted to her and told her that she’d dropped something.
"When she bent down to pick it up, he tapped her on the bottom and said, 'It’s your number' before joining up with his friends.
"The girl said she was shocked and upset by the incident and thinks she heard one of the group call the man Damien but didn’t see where they went."
The man is described as being between 20 and 30 years old, around 5ft 7ins and he had an English accent. He was wearing a white t-shirt, a black zip-up top, black trousers, a black baseball cap and a blue surgical mask.
The police spokesperson added: "If you saw anything or know anything about what happened then call us on 101. Alternatively, you can report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
