Cycling superstar is gearing up for a one off after school special for BMX fans.
Rush Skatepark CIC have announced that Nikita Ducarroz will be joining them on Wednesday 16 May, for an after hours skate session at Stroud's Rush Skatepark.
Nikita Ducarroz, 21, is the newest member of the Extreme/Black+Decker™ team.
Nikita was born in Nice, France but moved to California when she was young and has been riding BMX for six years now. She competes for Switzerland and trains in San Diego.
She is one of the only females in the world who can backflip a BMX bike. But a backflip is just one of the tricks in her arsenal – Nikita is regularly laying down high difficulty tricks like tailwhips and 540s.
Following her quick progression, Nikita is regularly competing in the highest competitions on the planet, such as the X-Games, the Vans US Open and the BMX Freestyle World Cup. In fact, she is currently ranked second in the world for women’s BMX riding. She will be considered for the debut of BMX Freestyle in the 2020 Olympics.
Since starting BMX, she hopes to inspire other people to get out of their comfort zones and break boundaries.
Nikita will be with Rush Skatepark CIC from 4.30pm through to 9.30pm for the after school session and bike night.
A spokesperson for Rush Skatepark CIC said: "Please note Extreme will be filming throughout this time and therefore you will have to complete a waiver form as a legal requirement thereby giving Extreme permission to film or take photographs within the park.
"If you are under 18 we will require your parents consent, therefore I have attached a Waiver form which you will need to bring along with you if you wish to ride with Nikita.
"The waiver forms will also be available to complete on the day. This is not a free event and normal admission price will apply."
