Wiltshire Police are appealing for information after two males assaulted a 14-year-old boy in Swindon.

The incident took place at around 8.30pm on Saturday 13 January, in the area of Honiton Road and Shaftesbury Avenue.

Two white males, approximately 16 to 18 years of age, threatened the victim and pushed him to the ground after attempting to rob him.

The victim was shaken by the incident but not seriously injured.

PC Emma Brown is investigating the incident. She said: “This was a nasty assault on a teenage boy, and he was lucky to escape with only minor injuries. We are appealing for any information and for any potential witnesses to come forward.

“The two men wore dark puffa style jackets and hoodies for the attack, with their hoods pulled tight around their faces to hide their identities. One of the men was riding a white bike with black handles.

“If you have any information relating to the assault or know who the men involved may be, please contact the police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
