A shop on Commercial Road in Swindon was broken into this week and Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Academy Insurance, opposite Natwest, was broken into at approximately 2.30am on Thursday 4 January.
The front door of the premises was smashed in and a small amount of cash was stolen from inside.
PC Keith Larkworthy said: "If you were near the premises at the time, or if you live nearby and were woken by smashing and banging noises, or by the alarm and saw suspicious activity, please call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
