Police appeal for witnesses after teenage altercation with knife on Manchester Road

Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident on Manchester Road, Swindon whereby two males have threatened two other males with a knife.

Around 11am yesterday the two men demanded money from the victims, threatening them before money was handed over. It's believed the victims knew the two males.

Two males from Swindon were arrested: a 14-year-old on suspicion of robbery and possessing a knife and a 17-year-old on suspicion of robbery, possessing a knife and threats to kill. Both have been released on conditional bail until the end of this month.

Local Crime Investigator (LCI) Dee Williams said: "We're appealing for anyone who may have heard or seen anything suspicious in this busy area around this time.

"Also, we are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV footage of this incident to come forward."
