Two men were detained at the scene.

A 30-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of theft from a vehicle, and a 32-year-old man from Swindon was arrested on suspicion of vehicle interference.

Both remain in Gablecross custody for questioning.

"These included coats, power tools, chocolates and keys. We’d like to return these to their rightful owners and would urge anyone in the area who believes their vehicle may have been targeted last night, and thinks they may be missing items, to call 101 and quote log number 25 of today.”
