Wiltshire police are renewing an appeal for information following an incident in Waitrose, Swindon.

Between 8.25pm and 8.30pm on 1 October 2017, an ATM machine was stolen from the supermarket in Mill Lane.

Three vehicles – a Land Rover defender, Vauxhall Astra style van and a dark coloured Audi Saloon were seen outside the store.

PC Alex Mulley said: “Our investigation into this incident is currently ongoing and in particular, I would be keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a green Land Rover Defender travelling in convoy with a white or very light blue Vauxhall Astra van from Wharf Road in Wroughton, towards Waitrose, prior to 8.20pm.

“I’d also be interested in anyone who saw a dark coloured Audi S5 travelling in convoy with the same Astra van immediately after the incident – approximately 8.30pm.

“I believe the vehicles then travelled over the motorway bridge to Wharf Road and proceeded up towards Chiseldon.

“Were you driving in the area at the time and do you have dash cam footage which could have captured these vehicles? If you do, please get in touch – you could really help with our investigation.”

Anyone with information should call 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
