The region's newest intensive language learning courses are being launched at South Cerney near Cirencester.
The one day classes entitled 'The Italian Experience Cotswolds' start on Saturday 9th September 2017 at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park Hotel and are led by a local tutor and chartered linguist, Dr. Alessandra Murgia MCIL.
Each one day course runs from 9.30am-4pm and is specifically designed for different levels of Italian knowledge (with Intermediate level starting the season followed by Upper Intermediate in October). Advanced and Beginners classes are planned for the winter period. It is hoped that the intensive days will become an all year round event.
Dr Alessandra Murgia MCIL is a chartered linguist and native Italian speaker and has a high reputation in the region having tutored at Marlborough College Summer School, Oxford University and the Academy of Great Britain, based in Shrivenham. Additionally, she has previously taught Italian at New College, Swindon and St Johns, Marlborough and is also a private tutor based in Watchfield, Oxfordshire.
Over recent years classes of Italian have closed across many schools and collages in Swindon, Marlborough and around the area, leaving Italian learners with limited places to continue their learning in groups- and to enjoy the confidence benefits that a group brings.
