Officers are appealing for witnesses after a robbery in the Parks area of Swindon on Wednesday 7 February 2018.

Around 12.30am a man was walking next to Shaftesbury Way and Netherton Close when an unknown offender pushed him from behind causing him to fall to the floor.

The offender then pulled the victim's wedding ring off his finger (similar to the one pictured) as well as taking three bank cards taken from his pocket.

Although shaken, he was not seriously injured.

PC Rachel Mountain said:  "We'd would like to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area around this time - the early hours of Wednesday 7 February.
"Also, if you recognise this distinctive ring - perhaps it's been offered to you or you have seen it for sale - please contact me."

If you can help with our enquiries please contact PC Rachel Mountain on 101 or anonymously, via Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.
