Six delegates from the Shanghai Economic Management School along with Michael Dawe, Senior Consultant from ABE, visited Swindon College on Tuesday to establish a partnership with ABE and to research a rapidly developing Swindon Management School programme. Daniel Scullane, Head of Learning for the Swindon Management School and School of Business, said “it was a fantastic privilege to welcome a group of high performing teachers from Shanghai. We showed them the best that Swindon College has to offer, and provided an overview of the new provision in Level 4 Business Management being launched this September.” Michael Dawe, of ABE, said “The day was amazing and was a well organised event as we welcomed two new ABE partners together for the first time”. Ruth Paisley, Deputy Principal, welcomed the party to Swindon College and accepted a gift from the delegates on behalf of the College Leadership Team. The partnership between the college and ABE will allow the growth and development of business management courses which will ensure that students have access to first class degree level education and progress to high quality employment. Daniel took the visitors on a tour of the campus and had lunch in the Restaurant. Pictured left is Ruth Paisley being presented with a gift from the Shanghai Economic Management School.
