Beat those January blues by joining a walking group

The festive season is over! Are you feeling sluggish, overweight, unfit, lonely, depressed, isolated? Why not join a walking group.

Swindon and North East Wiltshire ramblers have regular walks in interesting places with trained leaders who promise they can take you from sofa to summit. To join is free and it is a chance for people to meet new friends and socialise.

You can make new friends and you can try the walks for free!

A spokesman said: "We can cater for all abilities and we have walks with different lengths and terrains. You can try our 1 hour urban health walks or our short countryside rambles of 4-5 miles. Check out what we can offer on our websites."
