Virtual first match for new Swindon youth rugby side

A new under-13s rugby squad will play its first fixture this Sunday - July 19.

The Swindon St George side will meet the West Oxfordshire Levellers, but because of covid-19 restrictions it will be a virtual match.

The two sides will compete in seven tasks, with their times recorded and points awarded.

Swindon St George launched its new youth side last Sunday, 

In addition to having an under-13s team, the club caters for youngsters aged from five to 10 and is in the process of reforming its wheelchair and LDRL - Learning Difficulty Rugby League - teams.
