Fans and sponsors were invited to the announcement of the squad and had the chance to see them going through their paces in a practice session.
Last season saw the Wildcats take the National Autumn Cup, reach the semi-finals of the National Cup and tale second place in the national league.
Player coach and general manager Aaron Nell said: "Last season there was a great start, a really good middle and then the end wasn't the best.
"We're going to change some little thing. Some things you'll notice, others you won't, but the boys are going to have a lot of work to do over the nest two or three weeks, a lot of practice, a lot of chances to change what we do."
Asked about likely main rivals, he said: "I think Milton Keynes are going to be very good. Telford are always good, and Leeds, but I think if we finish above Milton Keynes we'll win the league."
