The Swindon Wildcats Supporters Club have announced the details for their End of Season Awards Night.
The event is open to all fans and will be held at The Doubletree Hilton Hotel at Junction 16, on Friday 25 April.
A spokesperson said: “It’s a great way to see out the season as we celebrate with the players, staff, volunteers and off-ice team. The evening will start with a brief round-up of the season followed by a lovely 2-course meal service.
“There will be plenty of fun and laughter and every effort will be made to make you smile before you party the night away with your family, friends and maybe a Wildcat.”
The booking process will open on Saturday 8 March, there are plenty of seats available but the booking process closes on Saturday 5 April so don’t leave it too long to book!
The awards this season are:
- Defenseman of the Season – chosen by the fanbase
- Forward of the Season – chosen by the fanbase
- Player of the Season – chosen by the fanbase
- Supporters Club Unsung Hero – chosen by the Chairman of the Supporters Club
- The Club’s Unsung Hero – chosen by Aaron and Steve Nell
- Player’s Player of the Season – chosen by the players
- Coach’s Player of the Season – chosen by Aaron and Ritchie
- The Dave Richardson Trophy (Best British Player) – chosen by Ritchie
This is a very popular event that is open to everyone. Ticket prices are £45.00 for an adult and £22.00 for a child (a smaller plate that is appropriate for a child 12 and under). Supporters Club members get a discount and will pay £35.00.
If you would like to stay the night at the Hilton Hotel then use the discount code GWILD2 on the Hilton website and this will give you a saving on the normal published price.
Details of the menu, raffle prizes, start times, dress code and how to vote in the award categories will be shared on the Supporters Club social media pages in the coming weeks.
